I started with Gloria Lancaster, and since it's almost my last day, I think I'll almost end with her. This is an oddly endearing little tale, "The Alternative Jim Is A Panther Story" as Gloria herself puts it in her summary. Basically we have Jim getting in touch with his inner Panther (yes, I know, and you know, that it's really a Jaguar, but let's not be too picky). I have a fondness for stories that involve the Spirit Guides, or even pseudo-Spirit Guides, and in this one the big cat likes to play. With Blair. 'Nuff said.

I love how she portrays the boys in her stories. Jim is older and wiser and Blair is goofy and immature. "No coffee for me, kitten". My favorite line.

Hee! That *is* a good line. And yes, that's one of the things I like about Gloria's stories, too.

I'm so glad you've enjoyed my recommendations! I don't think I write them particularly well, so it's nice to know that I can at least choose good stories. : )
