Sorry I'm late, guys. Didn't realize there wasn't a fandom overview, and real life and fan life is pretty busy...Anyway, I'm akamine_chan and I'll be your driver for the Canadian Actor RPF version of crack_van.

Why this must be read: Spuffy is one of my favorite authors of all times - I will read her stories no matter what the fandom, which is unusual for me. I tend to be monofannish in the extreme, but she's so good at writing it's not even funny.

This story was written for ds_aprilfools challenge a couple of years ago and was written at a frantic, headlong pace, in drips and drabs, over the course of a month. The story reflects this, Callum and Hugh on tour before the filming of HCL starts, days trapped on a crowded tour bus, long, long days on the road, pent up and watching the Canadian landscape go by alternating with nights of loud music, bodies pressing close together, the smell of cigarettes and alcohol and sweat...


Finally, though, the last fan clears out, and Hugh walks over, leans down and pulls Callum up by the collar of his jacket. And for a minute it's pretty much exactly what Callum was figuring it might be, rough and fast and a little too hard, slamming Callum up against the wall and bashing their mouths together, it's safe. And then Hugh pulls back and looks at him, strokes with his thumb gently down the side of his cheek, and the last thought Callum has before he stops thinking at all is oh, fuck, this could get dangerous.
