Why this must be read: This a surreal, erotic poem, alternating Mulder's point of view with River's; yet, at its core, it is a Mulder/Scully romance. I love tree's erotica, and there are not a lot of people who write it as beautifully, but I don't think there is another writer in either fandom who can write it in this feverish, yet dream-like River voice.
