This story must be read because it is just so good! Alex Christian is obsessed with Hutch. Alex is not a good guy, but I can totally understand his obsession. Starsky can't stand the way he looks at Hutch and he tries to tell Hutch, but Hutch thinks that Starsky is just over reacting. Hutch, you need to listen to your partner on this one.
Hutch took a drink from his glass of Perrier water, savoring its crisp taste. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of his partner taking a drink of his, making a face, and pushing the glass away. He couldn't help but smile, before his gaze turned back to Christian. Folding his hands in front of him on the table, Hutch warned, "It's just a matter of time before you fall, Christian, and when you do, you're gonna fall hard."
Christian had refocused his attention on the blond detective. Hutch seemed uneasy as the blue eyes seared through him, and he shifted uncomfortably in his chair. Christian stood up and walked directly behind him. "Is that so? I'm going to fall hard?" he asked in amusement. "And when I fall, will it be you that catches me?" He ran his hand lightly up Hutch's neck and across his cheek. Hutch didn't flinch, refusing to give Christian the pleasure of initiating a response from him.
Starsky was not so forgiving. "You son of a bitch!" In a split second, the infuriated detective was out of his chair, across the table, and had Christian by the knot of his silk Halston tie.
