Why this must be read:

Sometimes in fics for this fandom it seems like the fact that they are in another galaxy is an afterthought.  In this story the culture-shock is very much evident and drives a lot of the interactions.  Plus, you get great mental images like Teyla taking a nap under one of the lab tables while everyone in the lab just works around her.  There is a little bit of interplanetary cattle-rustling.  And certain of the expedition begin lactating.  Just another average day in Pegasus.
