Why this must be read:

Emphasis should be on fics that you feel are especially outstanding and accessible examples of your fandom, e.g. it plays on a repeated theme in the show, it's a fandom or a personal favourite, it was a controversial fic, it's good smut. Whatever.

Warnings are not required beyond what the author has posted on their own stories.

I can tentatively take October; if you could check with me before you assign, I'd appreciate it. I'm going abroad for the semester, and while I'm pretty sure I'll have regular internet access, nothing's certain. But if I do have net access, I'd be happy to be the October reccer.
