Why this must be read:
Yenneffer's writing style is unique among fanfiction authors. She combines prose and poetry to create the most poignant angst and the subtlest darkfics. In Odd Edges, she tells the story of the short period of time during the Clone Wars when Anakin and Obi-Wan, Jedi Knights, were equals - or were they? Like her other fics, this one gives no definite answers, perhaps because there are no definite answers.

The use of second person narrative is discouraged in fanfiction because it's extremely difficult to do well. Yenneffer makes it look easy. The combination of second and third person in Odd Edges breaks the "rules" of writing, but it works. This short fic successfully conveys the emotional intensity and the tragedy of the relationship dynamic between Anakin and Obi-Wan in the prequels.

Yenneffer's stories aren't just stories. They are art.
