Why this story must be read: One of the many curious aspects of Buffyverse writers is their adoration of marginal and/or completely throw-away characters. This fic is a perfect example of that. If you're a Buffy watcher, you remember The Cheese Guy from "Restless", if you aren't, then you have absolutely NO CLUE who this person is. There are tons of fic out there about characters like this, in one episode, maybe one SCENE. There are writers who only write about these minor characters, but almost everyone I know of who's been around a long time has utilized at least one of them for plot purposes. So, here's the story of the The Cheese Guy.

I have to admit that despite having watched every Buffy episode (besides "Him" I fast-forwarded through most of that) at least once (though not religiously or anything), I actually don't remember The Cheese Guy. Now I'm all embarrassed. Bad fan, no cookiecheese.

He was a random character who offered cheese to each of the characters dreaming in "Restless" (the episode with the First Slayer).
