Why this must be read: This is a rather short one-shot and it seems impossible to create more than one believable alternate universe, but Michelle creates several. Building on the theme that Jared and Jensen can find each other anywhere, they do. It's not schmoopy or saccharine or even presented as a soulmate story. Instead, gorgeous prose builds and builds to create pocket universes that seem as real as the inside of Kripke's office and the bond between Jared and Jensen is as tangible as it is veristic.
