WOW! That was a detour. So my original rec had been rec'd back in 2K8 (and since I didn't know Rebelcat was myrebelcat in LJ, I didn't find it in the splendiferous bookmarks of win that are the MFU delicious bookmarks. Until a helpful cousin clued me in and I could go look under the LJ name and There It Was! *YIKE* BUT! I'm saved because this story HASN'T been rec'd and so I am really happy to do so!!!

Why this must be read: Ok, this is one of the FUNNIEST slash stories I have ever read. It has snark, it has banter, it has grades. Trust me, this will make you smile all day. (and even if you don't like slash usually, it is still delightfully funny, not to mention colourful! give it a try!)

Why this must be read: Here is a delightful little bit of something right at the start of the best partnership ever. Napoleon is working with a new guy and wonders if he should be worried about that. There is great dialog and a wonderful story about things that shouldn't blow up, but do. You know Illya can ignite anything, right? One more wonderful thing about this story is that it may or may not be flirting that they are doing. The author leaves that up to the reader to interpret as they desire. I like that in a story, much like the show itself, we can take it as we like. Give this one a try, it's worth a read.
