The Coda Series by PFL (Adult)
Hello, my name’s Drayce and I’m driving the newly resurrected Ford Transit – beware the zombie van! – for The Professionals this month. We’re an old fandom but a lively one and I hope I manage to find a few stories to tempt you to climb up in the van. Hold on tight, we’ll be making a few handbrake turns.
Please consider signing up to take a turn behind the wheel.
Fandom: THE PROFESSIONALS
Pairing: Bodie/Doyle
Length: 119,812 words (broken in to 57 codas).
Author on LJ:
msmoat
Author Website: At the Automated Hatstand archive and at The Circuit Archive.
Why this must be read:
PFL undertook to write a coda for every single one of the 57 episodes of The Professionals while the fandom was engaged in a weekly re-watch of the series. That’s impressive enough but the real reason to read them is just how bloody good they are. All of her stories are worth reading, the lads are always in character, always competent and deadly and so beautifully snarky with it but I chose to rec the coda because they explore the lads developing relationship across the entire span of the series.
Whether you’re watching the series for the first time (go on, you won’t be sorry) or planning a re-watch the coda series is the perfect accompaniment. Enjoy!

It makes me really happy that we're back to being a full time van. *g* She did such a great job with it and it was one of the first things I knew I wanted to rec, so here it is. *g*

I thoroughly recommend them Tog, actually anything by PFL (see the archive links *g*) but perhaps not at 1am in the morning on a work night. It's almost the weekend...

I'm so glad to see Pros as a regular here again. You're right that we're an old fandom but lively as well! I look forward to seeing your recs. Wheee!

Nothing to be thanked for, your work deserved the rec. *g*
I've put up three recs so far and if you hop over to T&SR I've posted instructions on how to just receive notification of Pros recs if you want to do so.
