Why this must be read: Sharilyn's stories always have an almost poetic or lyrical feel to them. There's lots of description that makes you feel as if you're right there, living through this with the characters. She gets right inside Blair's mind when he's badly injured in this story and every time I read it I can sense the fear and the pain he's suffering.
