Why this must be read:
This is a wonderfully different AU series in which Blair is the protector as well the guide. We meet a totally different Jim and Blair here but there are still glimpses of the characters we know and love. There's some beautifully sensitive interaction as Jim and Blair get to know each other, a smattering of h/c for aficionados of that genre (like me) and a peek inside a different version of the Ellison family than most of us are used to seeing.
