Hi, I'm bluewolf458 and I'll be driving the van for October. It's the first time I've done this, and I hope people find my recs interesting!

Why this must be read: - The 'men in black' have kidnapped Jim; with the help of the spirit guides Blair discovers where he is and rescues him, but he's in a pretty bad way.

There are so many stories with Jim helping/rescuing Blair. This is a kind of role reversal story that hits all my buttons, with a vulnerable Jim and a strong Blair. There are several flashback scenes, with a change of writing style that makes them stand out; and the flashbacks are in no danger of taking over the story being told, which sometimes can happen - they complement it very well. This is one of my top favourite stories, one I never tire of rereading.

Ah! Thanks for noticing that. Comes of automatically clicking 'friends only' on my own journal; I hadn't realised I'd done it here too. Fixed now!

I got notification a couple of weeks ago that I was on for October, and as I understand it you can only post when you're given access. Have to admit I was surprised, because I had noticed you - and at least one other - signed up before I did; I was expecting to be driving somewhere around January.

No, you have it right. I had driven before and was being way too laid back! I went to post this afternoon and realized I did not have access and scrambled around trying to figure out what happened. I can drive another time.

Actually, I did tag it 'sentinel' as well as 'fanfic', and it's showing both for me now, though IIRC it only showed 'fanfic' last night, when I went in to unlock it (having marked it 'members only' through sheer force of habit). Anyway, I'll make doubly sure it's tagged 'sentinel' in future!

Actually the Members Only is the default selection for CV, so it's not on you at all.
