Classic, in Progress by [livejournal.com profile] tzikeh

Hi everyone, I'm Reesa, and I'm driving the White Collar van this month. Sorry about missing a few days- I got held up by some sort of manhunt. Roadblocks and wanted posters everywhere. I tend towards the OT3 of Peter/Elizabeth/Neal, but I also read gen and het, so I think I've got a relatively decent set of stories to throw at you this month. Sit back, put your feet up, and try to ignore the smell. We really should get one of those little pine tree air fresheners in here...

Fandom: WHITE COLLAR
Pairing: No official pairing, Neal, Peter, Elizabeth friendship. But it's a close friendship.
Length: 1400 words
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] tzikeh
Author Website: N/A as far as I can tell

Why this must be read:
If there is one thing about White Collar that most people immediately recognize, it's Neal's sense of style. If there's one thing about Peter Burke's appearance that people might notice, it's his ass his fondness for the things he already has. This is a short fic that manages to capture Peter's reluctance to change the things that have always worked for him, Neal's teasing and real respect for the man that Peter is, and Elizabeth's fond acceptance of Peter's quirks, which doesn't stop her from plotting with Neal. Also, it's about FORMAL WEAR, and there is nothing wrong with a man in a tuxedo. It's tagged gen, and there is no explicit content or romantic element in the forefront (other than Peter and El, who have a lovely marriage), but to me it easily reads as some pretty awesome flirting between the three of them.
