Why this must be read: It's a kind of mixture of Merlin and The Sorcerer's Apprentice with touches of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The fic is short and humourous and the author infuses the story with totally memorable anthropomorphised objects and some great descriptions. Arthur's bewildered patience with Merlin is so cute and I totally love the comb!
He ducked under a pile of self-folding bed linens, tripped over a procession of spoons and nearly lost an eye to a particularly enthusiastic fireside poker before he located his errant Sorcerer.
