Warning: spoilers for 2010 midseason finale
Why this must be read: Unlike a lot of fandom, I really like the character of Jesse and felt like his addition has kept the team from getting too stale. This is a little "what-if" immediately after the events of the Season 4 midseason finale from Jesse's point of view. He's still angry, he's still on the outside looking in on the team of Fi, Sam, and Mike, and yet, it's the turning point. Is it Nov 11 yet? (premiere of 2nd half of season)
Excerpt: They trust that he shot to save and not kill. Jesse's loyalty is re-established and any questions must come later, because right now there is an emergency. So Jesse plays his part, shedding his blank face for a dumbfounded, floundering one (because that's how he feels, because he still wonders whether he should have shot Michael to kill, because he doesn't know what to do now he's teamed up and been teamed up with the very people that burned him, because one of the heads of the Hydra is lying dead in a car not twenty feet away and who's going to take up his spot) that's easy to obtain.
