Hi all, JoJo here, fashionably late to drive the wagon again (and it’s still stuck in the old west for the moment).  I wanted a theme for this month and looking at some of the fics I've thought about reccing, it appears that theme may well turn out to be "couples"...

Why this must be read:  The dreamy, poetic style of this writer, with its subtle layers of sensual detail and the sense of yearning and danger she evokes, make her expression of the Chris and Vin love story both intimate and epic.  I like how the two of them are at once in tune with one another, and yet not. 

Vin shifts a foot, reforms himself from earth and sky and rock, and man and horse relax. His lips tug in an involuntary smile as he sees Chris' eyes sharpen and focus on him. It comes so naturally to Vin that he's always amused by Chris' reaction, always somewhat surprised when his gaze skips across Vin without seeing him. He could never fail to see Chris.

I just stumbled into Magnificent Seven fandom via Netflix and decided to come looking for reading material. This story just...*flails for proper words and finds none* Thank you so much for reccing this story!!!
