Why this must be read:

Oh, because while Chris and Vin somehow lend themselves to being a dreamy, epic kind of a pairing, Ezra and Josiah are a classic "this shouldn't be" sort of a couple.  And delphi always beautifully reflects this, never more so than through Ezra's thought processes in this atmospheric and wonderfully wicked short story.  Well, there had to be good reasons why Josiah was de-frocked... and a propensity for sinning in church might be one.  Please note that Penitence and a cold shower may be needed after reading.

Ezra opens his mouth for words that won't come; something twists in his stomach as Josiah smiles that fierce smile of his and shakes his head slowly, incredulously, his thoughts his own.

I adore Josiah, and he never seems to get enough play. (Not that I don't love Ezra, but he gets play everywhere he goes! lol)

That being said, this is a wonderful story that I've read several times, and I'm glad to see it recced.
