Why this must be read:
Well, for starters there aren't that many Kate/Ziva stories. I for one have always seen Ziva as Kate's replacement. Or stories either have Kate/another or Ziva/another.
lynxycrowy has written a story wherein their lives overlap for a few years in a quite believable way.
And heck, I sniffled a little while I read it. I bet that you will too.
