These two characters were anything but fandom favorites when they appeared on the show, but I always had a soft spot for Hoynes and I always thought that Amy brought out a different side of Josh, one that was fascinating to watch as a viewer. This story is dark and bleak, with wonderful imagery that makes this piece a stand out in West Wing rare pair fic.
