Why this must be read:
The title of this story is 'Two Bitches and an Asshole (named Josh).'
So ends the first section of this fic, which I love desperately. Seriously. I remember when I first read it, the only feedback I could send was: "Love it." or some similarly unexpressive variation borne by the way it completely blew me away. (After subsequent readings, it didn't become easier to express my love, but I did marry it.) It's brilliant and stunning, and sad, mixing the fucked-up sexiness inherent (for me) in Mandy/Amy with a poetic, tense spanning style.
And there's implied Josh/Sam. Once must appreciate that.
An excerpt.
And as soon as she says it, voice harsh and strained, she falls to the floor. Mandy follows her down, crouching on the blue tile, knees cracking. Wipes the mascara tracks from Amy's face. Worries that this time, just maybe, Josh has gone too far. Or maybe she has, who knows?
It's hard to tell who's in the wrong, when everyone's cheating on everyone else.
Again, I say: Love it. And now you should, too.
