Why this must be read:
This bandombigbang future story from Brian's POV is a great read. Brian's perspective is consistent, and he's observant enough to make Patrick's and Brian's motivations realistically clear. I like that he's guy-like and not uber introspective (sometimes a tight POV is too navel gazing). All of the guys seem like real dudes, and these three friends are in this thing for the hot sex and not too much talking about it (or angst, yay!), but they do value their relationship. I also think the baby band that becomes "theirs" is a perfect frame for the growth of the threesome.
