Unnatural Disaster by Michaela (R)

Fandom: The X-Files
Pairing: Mulder/Scully
Length: 599K
Author on LJ: Unknown
Author Website: The Morgue
Why this must be read:

I just finished reading this story for the 2nd time today and had to post it as my next rec.  This is one of the best, most well written stories I have ever read.  It focuses on the ramifications of Scully's behavior in Never Again in a gut wrenching and emotional way.  It is also very suspenseful and is hard to stop reading.  The MSR is a huge component to this story and the author confronts a lot of the stuff that the characters never dealt with on the show.  I also really liked Skinner's role in this story- both he and Mulder's comments added some humor that was needed with all the angst that Scully was going through.  I love this story and am sure that anyone that reads it will feel the same.

Does that 599K actually mean this is 600,000 words long? HOLY CRAP. I read epic fantasy and that's STILL insane. It sounds fantastic, but if that's not a typo, I quite simply don't have the time. :\

If, on the other hand, that was meant to be a 59, this will go straight into the TBR file!

It is long but it's not 600,000 words. I just put the story into my word processing program to check and it's a little over 99,000 words.
