Why this must be read:

First of all, I swear I did search this one out, and couldn't find it anywhere in the archives, so I plead the amendment that protects me from prosecution of duplication, whatever that might be. Just so we're clear on that.
Secondly, I can't imagine why it hasn't been rec'd previously because it's another brilliant piece by this author. Glass Threads are all that sustain a young Russian trying to out maneuver his American counterpart in a game where the price is often life itself, paid to a profession not known for its adherence to honor.
You'll read this one more than once, and the images of these two men will inhabit other stories, other times.
