Author’s summary: Some days, it was easier than others.
This is a short and simple fic that gets to the heart of Series 1 Sam. This fic isn’t so much about time travel vs. in a coma vs. back in time; it’s about Sam being confused and alone and missing the life he left behind in 2006. And on a purely sentimental note, this was also one of the first LoM fics I ever read, way back in the day. Oh, the memories!
