crack_van driver for May and because of finals I've just taken the van out of the garage. That means that I owe you all lots of really great reads for the rest of the month. (never sign up for anything when finals are looming). Here's my first offering.

It was from a prominent law firm and Waverly immediately wondered if it was yet another paternity suit against Mr. Solo. One a year was quite enough for him. No way of knowing until he opened it and he slit the paper easily with a letter opener. Taking out the envelope's contents, he folded them flat with one hand.
Retrieving his glasses from an inner jacket pocket, he perched them upon his nose and began to read, even as his hand fumbled with his ever present briar pipe.
"I don't believe it. After all these years, you remembered," Waverly muttered in disbelief, and then he leaned forward. "Miss Hambley, would you please contact Mr. Solo and Mr. Kuryakin and informed them that regrettably their day off has been cancelled."
