Ruby's voice is just so wickedly perfect in this piece, and the back-story that the author has given her fits so well.

vinylroad's writing is gorgeous, and I loved the relationship she showed between Ruby and Sam, they're both such complex characters that somehow fit together in the darkness of this story.

There's something fundamentally broken inside of him, and she's pretty sure that's why he fucks her that first time, but that's okay. She likes them broken, scattered pieces struggling to fit together again; she's good at fitting between the cracks. She's pretty sure that why he fucks her the second time.
