He was kitted out in a slim-fitted shirt in a dark jewel red, half-tucked to show off the waistband of his tight trousers that shone dully like the best silk, and black boots that were polished to a mirror brightness. John's fingers reached out involuntarily when he saw that Sherlock was carrying a familiar-looking riding crop as well, but they fell when he took in the panther-like stride that was carrying his flatmate down the runway and back again, suggestive of limitless power coiled and held in check."
