It's probably safe to say that most of you LoM fans have not read this before. It's a magnificently funny The Devil's Whore/Life on Mars crossover chatfic by

snowgrouse and

45eugenia.

Now, normally I wouldn't post chatfic — I don't care for it myself, most of the time — but this is such irresistible crack, I just can't pass up the opportunity. The authors ask the question, "Why wasn't the Guv in The Devil's Whore?" and speculate what might have happened if he had been. Featuring guest appearances by Chris, Ray, Litton, and the redoubtable Phyllis.
