Don’t get me wrong— I love and appreciate smart!Kirk just as much as the next person. But I also have a huge soft spot for Kirk the Drunken, Immature Fool, and this fic satisfies that need a hundred-fold. Kirk, Spock, and McCoy break out of a holding cell, but Kirk refuses to leave the cell until someone will agree to reciprocate his fistbump. In short, even drunk, immature, and foolish, Kirk is still awesome.

Oh, everyone should watch HIMYM. But Neil Patrick Harris's character actually spends a whole episode holding his fist in the air (which gets painful after a while) waiting for a bump.
