Why this must be read:

The classic of sQ slash, this story is well-characterized, beautifully written, and actually goes to the trouble of delving into the...complications inherent in the Bridger/Lucas pairing. This story also makes good use of the Noyce-Bridger friendship, plus Bridger's undying love for his late wife. It's always nice to see former spouses and love interests acknowledged and dealt with believably in any pairing-centric story.

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner on this.

Truth to tell, there aren't that many Nathan/Lucas stories, and most of those that exist are not ones I personally would recommend to anyone. There's not even a central slash archive I can point you to so you can judge for yourself. There is an sQ slash LJ community called mermen. I can't vouch for the content, as I'm not a member, but you might ask there.

I mod a multi-genre community called seadeck, and I've written one Nathan/Lucas story, which can be found on my website here (http://slashcity.org/lorelei/undertow.html). It's a rather grim story, so be prepared if you decide to read it.
