Why this must be read:
There are many reasons why people should read this. Of course, Wes is always a good reason, but what made me really stop and take notice was how well the author deals with Wes's "heteronormative conservatism." Wes is very supportive of Blaine, and his (slowly) budding romance with Kurt as long as he doesn't have to see it. And to top it all off, he's not entirely comfortable around Kurt, since Kurt isn't exactly the epitome of masculinity. The author takes this somewhat sensitive issue, and deals with it really well.
