Why this really should be read:
Inspired by an odd, awkward photo of the band with Britney and Bobbie and, er, Carrot Top (though he is no way part of the story), this is a rich and complex story that nearly three years after I first read it, I remember echoes of it at random moments. Lovely use of canon and second person narrative that isn't intrusive but seamless. One the fics that I first read in the fandom that convinced me popslash had so many of the best writers.
