Early in Legacy, during Alan Bradley’s visit, the audience is treated to a lovely shot of Sam Flynn’s bruised back and shoulders. In this story, it’s Quorra’s turn to see.

“Are they... Are these bruises?” her soft voice came from behind him, and she sounded enthralled.

“Yeah,” he answered, distracted by the way she was tracing the shape of one mark over his skin. He shivered.

It was a moment before she said anything, and when she did, it was an almost-whisper. “They’re beautiful.”

This is a sensuous story about Quorra’s fundamentally alien nature and her relationship with the very, very human Sam.

This was a very nice look at these two. I loved the author's look into their heads. Quorra was so real even though she isn't human. And Sam's restraint! LOL Just a lovely piece. Thanks for pointing it out. :)
