Why this must be read:
This is yet another fic that has a tendency to punch you straight in the heart. It too is a modern AU with the added staple of being set at a British university and has Merlin and Arthur as students. But these are only the trappings (good trappings though, it's the recognisable and real Lancaster University) because this story is really all about stress and coping strategies and the inevitable breaking point. I think it's an excellent study of someone having a minor nervous breakdown and the beginnings of their recovery. There's also the slightly unusual aspect for Merlin fandom in that both principals believe they are straight. At least at the beginning :) This is a fic that rockets along fueled by desperation and rough sex, but do try it - it's one hell of a ride.
