talkingtothesky is an absolute drabble queen, the master of the short form, and I worship at her feet every time she posts one of these. Fortunately for me and for all fans of Life on Mars, she participated in several drabble challenges this year which resulted in an absolute abundance of short-form goodness. Sky always, always says so very much with those few words; loads of plot and loads of feeling and loads of heart. I could easily have recced other pieces by her, but I did want to pay homage to the glorious drabble in the hands of an expert.
