Nothing Says "Feel Better Soon" Like Grand Theft Larceny by OnYourMark (G)
Hullo everybody! I'm Kt, your driver for White Collar this month. I'm currently in the middle of grape harvest so expect my rec's to be a little erratic during the beginning/middle of the month. :)
Fandom: WHITECOLLAR
Pairing: Elizabeth, Peter, Neal
Length: 5 919
Author Website: AO3
Why this must be read:
With 32 White Collar Fics under their belt OnYourMark is fast becoming one of the best WC writers out there. This fic is a shining example of how they've taken a potentially angsty situation and jammed it full of humour. The title says it all really.
Excerpt:
"He shot Mrs. Suit?" Mozzie asked, when Neal walked in. "Who did it?"
"Jerry Rydell," Neal answered. "He's a drug dealer moving into the art market. Hi, by the way."
"He shot Mrs. Suit?" Mozzie repeated.
"Me too," Neal rolled up his sleeve, showing the butterfly bandages on his arm.
"I need fifty grand for the hit," Mozzie said. "Seventy to make it look like an accident. Your share is half, I got the rest. I know this guy -- "
"Nah, this is a do-it-yourself gig," Neal replied.
Mozzie broke into a wide grin. "The full treatment?"
