Hi, there. I'm Jas and I'll be reccing The Social Network fic over December. I'll be bringing a mix of three key types of fic in TSN fandom: 1) The Reconciliation Fic, 2) The AU, 3) The In Cannon Fic; usually either Harvard Fic, California Fic or Deposition Fic.

I'll start off with an excellent example of the reconciliation fic, because that was fandom's most pressing concern after the movie... how can we Fix It?

Why this must be read: This Mark is an epically great character. Awkward but essentially nice, realising he wants Eduardo and filling the hole of his absence with substitutes and personal growth in response to this challenge:

“Mark, you couldn't make a cat happy—you couldn't keep a plant alive, never mind make me—give me anything I—” Eduardo says and walks out. Mark takes that as a challenge.
