Why this must be read:
SO. Mark discovers his Mom thought Eduardo and he were dating:
Mark’s not really sure what happened after that, his mom had apologized some more, and he didn’t ask her all the questions he wanted to, like if she had just assumed for all these years why she had never mentioned it, and oh god, there was that time Eduardo had come over to his house for Thanksgiving, and she’d let him sleep in Mark’s room, and what did she think they had been doing in there, and she hadn’t even brought in the air mattress like she said she was going to.
And then discovers that everybody else thought so as well. What does Eduardo think about this?
“Well,” Dustin says, drawing it out, “I don’t know if everybody did. Definitely the two of us, and all the other people on our floor in Kirkland, and well, probably all the other people on the other floors in Kirkland, and most of the original interns, and those guys we used to hang out with sometimes from the-”
“Okay, okay, okay,” Mark cuts him off, still coughing a little. “I get the picture. Why the hell didn’t anyone ever say anything to me about this?”
Dustin shrugs, and Chris says, “I mean, no offense, but we kind of thought you already knew about it. When you think people are doing it, you pretty much assume they don’t need to be told...”
