VID REC: Shinigami Dispatch Society by Toboso Yana and the Original Musical Cast (Gen)
Fandom: KUROSHITSUJI
Music: Shinigami Haken Kyoukai no Theme (music by Taku Iwasaki, lyrics by Yukinojou Mori)
Musical Artist: “Most Beautiful Death In The World” original cast
Pairing: Alan Humphries/Eric Slingby
Length: 8:25
Vidder's Website: YouTube
Why This Vid Kicks Ass:
It has dancing bureaucrats. Who are gods of death. Who sing about office policies. If that's not enough to explain why you need to watch this, I fear that a demon may have eaten your soul while you weren't looking.
This clip is something of a special case: the subtitles are a fanwork and a labor of love, but it's not a fanvid in other respects. Still, it's a thing of glory and not to be missed: in its mix of crack, humor, and underlying darkness, it sums up everything I love about the fandom. And as a nontrivial bonus, the perfection of the casting is an amazing thing to behold.
