Why this must be read: There is overlap between the tennis fandom and the football fandom that was recced a couple of months ago, especially with the Spanish players on tour. Rafael Nadal's love of football is quite strong - he went to the World Cup finals to celebrate with the Spaniards in 2010 when he was supposed to be resting. So if one of his friends gives the suggestion to appear at Rafa's door wearing footballer gear, it would appear you have the friends' seal of approval. It also is good as an introduction to other members of the Spanish Armada without really needing to know too much about them. This was written in 2009 and, while the dynamic of this pairing has changed significantly in the last year due to Novak winning everything in sight, I still believe that Rafa wouldn't be able to turn down this offer.
