Why this must be read: Curse Kakodaimon's sudden but inevitable talent! She's also got a very touching Londo/Vir (The Third Way), and an appropriately funny Londo/G'Kar (Vision), but I'm reccing "Safety in Numbers" because it does a damned fine job answering the age-old question of how our favorite Centauri and Narn might react the morning after. It's solid, desperate and sexy at once, and pays as much attention to the historical relationship between Narns and Centauri during the war as it does to Londo and G'Kar's semi-enlightened, semi-heartbreaking love affair.
Londo’s lungs worked on a second laugh, disbelieving. "Hero! I find that somewhat out of character. Hero?"
"Rest assured, Mollari, it was the heat of the moment. Don’t flatter yourself by giving it a second thought."
"Hero. Great Maker. You, my friend, are slipping."
Then they lay back, each smiling and content, each silently cursing themselves and each other for being such unforgivably good diplomats.
