Why this must be read:
The finale to the 1st season left me gasping on the floor at the turn of events, and I know it did the same with others. Steve arrested, Kono facing an investigation, Chin apparently a traitor, and Danny possibly leaving the island altogether threw many fans for a loop, myself included. To tide us frantic fans over the summer break, masterpieces such as this cropped up and gave us our breathe again. For such a short fic, Anchor gives us fangirls just what we need, a sense that the Ohana is still working together to save its members and Danny is still that rock steady friend that Steve needs to pull him through this. Definitely a fic that made my summer hiatus of 2011 a little easier. :)
