Why this must be read: Writing four people in essentially one relationship is a tough task.myscheherazade and cohort hiro_chan came up with this idea based on the fact that Roger can be easily written with the other three players and all work at showing different aspects of his character. This is the first of their foursome fics, in which Andy gets it in his head that what Roger really needs is to get drunk and in bed with Stan, even though Roger is in a threeway arrangement with Andy and Marat.
From this fic, there are four other stories from these two authors. I highly recommend Favours fromhiro_chan, which works on the Marat/Stan element of the group (a pairing that couldn't be considered without at least Roger). I warn that Favours is actually on the dark side, as Stan is asking Marat to physically torture him after a painful loss. However, this fic only works if you read It's Still Early first.
