A Life Full of Spoilers, by Ironyrocks (R)
Hi, I'm
reeceer and I'll be reccing for Doctor Who this month! Hope you enjoy! For my first rec, I'm going to rec one of my all time favorite DW fics.
Fandom: DOCTOR WHO
Pairing: River Song/Eleventh Doctor, River/Twelfth Doctor, River/Tenth Doctor (sorta), Amy/Rory
Length: 20k
Author on LJ:

Why this must be read: This fic is epic in every imaginable way. The author took on an enormous task, deciding to write out allllll of River Song's life, from beginning to end, from her POV. It sticks perfectly to canon, but then adds on multiple layers on top of that and weaves together a story worthy of Moffat himself. Introduces a couple of awesome original characters, emphasizes River's relationships with not only the Doctor, but Amy and Rory too, and it also speculates on the Twelfth Doctor as well. Also, there's guest appearances by Jack, Donna, Rose and Martha too, but they don't overwhelm the story or feel out of place at all, instead sliding perfectly into her storyline at very subtle moments.
Gorgeously written. Cannot recommend this one enough.
