Keeping Clear by Lobelia Sackville-Baggins (G, with implied Slash)

Why this must be read:
Lobelia Sackville-Baggins (and isn’t that just a wonderful pen-name?), claims she owes her writing style to P.G. Wodehouse. Having never read Wodehouse, I can’t speak to that, but what I can speak to is this: I really like her style. (If you ever get the chance, read her WIP Code of the Brandybucks).
Keeping Clear is a wonderful glimpse into the mind of Samwise Gamgee. Sam is in love with Rosie. He is very clear on this point. Unfortunately, neither his hormones, nor his heart are entirely cooperating. The pre-quest story is sweet, as is Sam himself. Sweet and in denial. Poor hobbit.
But he’s in love with Rosie. Just ask him.
