Reading fics about players on opposing teams is a personal favourite of mine. There’s nothing better than hate sex... except developing a relationship that can be seen as ‘taboo’. The author captures Freddie’s sex appeal perfectly and couples it with Joe’s quiet side. What begins as a rendezvous ends as a great story about a pseudo/one sided relationship. Joe’s personal struggles with needing to label what he has with Freddie is the original draw.

This fic left me with so many unanswered questions that it's sort of ridiculous in the best possible way. It's a compelling piece that's raw and confused and human and lovely for it. Even if you're not 100% sure who everyone is. It's got details and emotions and punch. It's definitely worth checking out.
