I chose this charming little piece for the author’s Eames voice.
Quintessentially British, and utterly biased against the French, Eames falls in lust (or is it love?) with Arthur over the course of several extractions. Only to discover that his ability to read people is not infallible, and matters of the heart are rarely easy.
