Why this must be read: Two officers meet at an international air base in Afghanistan... okay, that's enough. Go read it now. More? *sigh * Seriously, it's a well thought out, very short piece that that tells us about two men whose paths cross in an airbase a long way from home and how they spend a few hours together. Normally, I shy away from fanfic that hooks up two characters from different shows just so they can have sex with one another but this one caught my eye and my fancy. It's believable, if only in a fanfic kind of way, and both men are very much in character. I just found it to be delightful and hope you do too.
